Resumen
En este estudio se analizó la relación entre los estados emocionales y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de educación superior desde un enfoque de la psicología educativa. Mediante un diseño cuantitativo y el uso de datos sintéticos, se evaluaron emociones académicas, afecto, malestar psicológico, compromiso académico y burnout. Los resultados descriptivos y correlacionales evidenciaron asociaciones positivas entre el rendimiento académico y las emociones adaptativas, el afecto positivo y el compromiso académico, así como relaciones negativas con la ansiedad, el aburrimiento y el malestar psicológico. La regresión jerárquica confirmó el aporte incremental y significativo de los distintos dominios emocionales y motivacionales en la explicación del rendimiento académico. Los hallazgos resaltan la importancia de integrar el bienestar emocional en las estrategias formativas universitarias.
