Abstract

Glyphosate, a widely used herbicide, has raised concerns due to its potential health risks and its presence in various food products. The analysis highlights the importance of monitoring these residues to ensure food safety and comply with relevant regulations. The ELISA technique is explained in detail, including its principles and benefits compared to other analytical methodologies. ELISA's sensitivity and specificity in detecting minimal glyphosate levels in complex food matrices are addressed. The report also examines comparative research on alternative detection methods and investigates the potential health impacts of chronic glyphosate exposure. It concludes by highlighting the essential role of ELISA in monitoring glyphosate residues and advocates for ongoing research to refine detection methods and deepen our understanding of glyphosate's effects on health.
