Resumen
En el presente estudio se analizó el impacto de las estrategias de desarrollo sostenible en la reducción de la pobreza y la igualdad territorial en zonas rurales del Perú, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo de diseño no experimental, transversal y alcance correlacional-explicativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 368 hogares rurales distribuidos en Arequipa, Moquegua y Puno, en Perú. Los resultados evidenciaron una relación positiva y significativa entre las estrategias sostenibles y la reducción de la pobreza, destacando la participación comunitaria, la producción sostenible y la infraestructura como las dimensiones con mayor capacidad explicativa. Asimismo, se identificaron diferencias territoriales relevantes y un impacto limitado de la inclusión financiera y la innovación productiva cuando no se articulan con políticas integrales. Se concluye que el desarrollo sostenible constituye un mecanismo efectivo para mejorar las condiciones de vida en contextos rurales, siempre que se implemente mediante enfoques multidimensionales y adaptados a las características territoriales.
